About Me
I have been a single malt drinker for about 15 years but tasted my first blends 20 or more years ago.
In the last three years I have been running a tasting group called the BUMS (Bureau of Malt Sippers). Our website, which has notes on our tastings is at www.scotch-tasting-bums.com and is updated every couple months. Besides our tastings, there are also lists of some of our favorites and links to other sites.
I traveled to Scotland with my wife and another couple about three years ago, and the Scotland and Her Distilleries video on my page is a result of that trip.
Check out my new video, WhiskyFest 2009 Chicago. It was a great experience as i think you'll see.
I'd be interested in other's experinces with tasting groups, either as participants or leaders.
